Now Serving All areas of Long Island!
Bringing home a new puppy, or adult dog, is an exciting and challenging time! At Pawsibilities we want to make the transition as smooth as possible. We are happy to come into your home prior to your puppy’s arrival to be sure everything is set up and safe. After that we can work on everything from socialization to basic obedience.
These sessions are one hour, and we can work with all members of the family that are involved in your dog’s life. If you have multiple dogs we can work with all the dogs in one session, but it’s best to start one on one, to give each dog their own time. In at-home lessons we can also go out for a walk to practice leash skills or workoutdoors in your neighborhood. All lessons will include an e-mail recap as well as unlimited phone and e-mail access for further questions.
Day Training is a great option in conjunction with at-home sessions. Day Training is done during the middle of the day on weekdays, and does not include the owner. We will always do our best to send video clips, and e-mail follow ups regarding the training we cover. In order to get the most out of day training, it is necessary to have at least one lesson a month with the owners involved, to go over all we have worked on. Day training is great for young dogs, and basic commands; it is a great way to exercise your dog’s brain while you are at work or away.
Prepare your home, even before your puppy gets there!
